| slowness updates | august 28, 2007 full sturgeon moon well, i've just returned from new orleans to hear senator barack obama speak on the 2nd anniversary of hurricane katrina. he gets my vote for president...[click on the name] slow food avoyelles is coming along, well, slowly. we do need more members to join forces with us... i know everyone enjoyed the marksville farmers' market this past june, which was sponsored by slow food avoyelles. a very good book i'm reading right now is "vegetable, animal, miracle"by barbara kingsolver...it's an eye-opener! |
