| in this day, some might regard your paintings as commonplace- reprinted on postcards and calendars they are but i hold them responsible for my quest for my second life in this life for my awakening gratitude for the inspiration- i saw you painting calla lily on red but then, i saw you painting calla lily on red the red so bold and unashamed- i craved the boldness the lines so sensual and wanting- i craved the sensuality the whole so filled with passion- i craved the passion no longer could i accept these deadened senses, if i was to live this life i would live with passion! july 2001 |
