| o, faint whistle blow tremble, surge propel to grow in the midst of aimless morn- churning wheels blow to scorn in silence- shouting! with providence, might lustful dark, "i crave your light" dim & clouded it may be- on rusted rails most fail to see the speed & chase all through the night past the fury of willow's boughs kudzu swallows formidable towers and honeysuckle's sweet delight- its' savage scent feigns innocence- head heavy from mist covered land encumbering fog- rolling, reveling, truth revealed- it stirs, tempts the lover's hollow hand and eyes long sealed left dull, stinging ravenous! in snagging paradox viscously thrown off the rails- with magnitude, it hurls & sails crashing! taking flight- sept. 2002 |
